Dear Clients
Summer is here and its time for yet another catch up of up and coming events and changes at the farm.

We start with the exciting news of our new jumping paddock adjacent to the top school. We have a mix of rustic and cross country fences at varying heights to suite our advanced riders at dales and thoroughbred standard. Your instructor will be taking you over these fences this summer if you ride in these group sessions, or the paddock can be booked for private lessons and clinics.

October saw the addition of a new horse on the farm called Jester. He is a 4 year old 13.2hh coloured pony. Jester has spent the winter settling in and expanding his education and is doing very well. He is a very kind and willing pony and will be joining in lessons very soon.

During July and August some of our staff will be embarking on a UK Coaching Certificate Course to continue to improve the education and quality of instruction we are providing. This course will require guinea pigs to take part in the training sessions as pupils. The sessions will take the form of a group riding session and if you fancy getting involved we are offering these sessions at a reduced rate of £10.

Dates are as follows:
5th and 12th July
2nd and 9th August

Due to a number of lesson slots being booked and clients not arriving we feel it necessary to make some changes to our booking system. As many of you may have experienced and appreciate, the riding school is very busy and getting a private lesson with your chosen instructor at a time to suite you can be difficult at times. In order to help us achieve this, if you wish to book a lesson with one of our senior instructors we will require full payment at time of booking. This will make the system more efficient and will ensure that clients and instructors will have structured and progressive lesson slots.

Fancy holding your Birthday Party at East Lodge?
Take the stress out of organising your big day. We now cater for the entire package including food, cakes and decorations. Parties can be booked on a Saturday or Sunday at 3:00pm and we now have a choice of 3 Party Packages tailored to match your needs and our Tea Room is also available to hire as the Party Room. Please see the Birthday Parties section for more details.

Our Birthday Gift Vouchers are still proving very popular, with prices starting at just £40 these make the perfect gift for any horse enthusiast. Please see our Gift Vouchers section or ask in reception for more details.

The Tea Room serves hot and cold food and refreshments.
Opening times are Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00am till 3:00pm.

We would also like to give you a reminder of our Office Opening Hours so that you can contact us should you need to:
Monday: 10:00am - 3:00pm
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 9:00am - 1:00pm then 2:00pm - 8:00pm
Friday: 10.00am - 3:00pm
Saturday and Sunday: 8:00am - 3:00pm

If you need to Cancel A Lesson we would ask you where possible to give us 48 hours notice otherwise a cancellation fee will apply.
