Hacking

We offer Hacking Out to suitably experienced riders (on the lead rein).
All riders have to have achieved a recognised standard and awareness of riding in open spaces and will be assessed before they go out.

We have an option of rides out mainly around our 250 acre farm with optional Cross Country obstacles!

Sometimes there are longer ride options of 2 hours up to a full day of 5 hours, giving the rider the opportunity of exploring the lovely bridleways of the Northamptonshire countryside.

Senior Hacking Groups: Shires

Due to popular demand we have created spaces for our over 14s to take our horses out for an hour hack.
Hacks will alternate with lessons that prepare for hacks and teach riding and road-craft, but lesson format can be suggested by the riders.  Lessons can be split into half a lesson in the school and half hack, dependent on turnout for lessons each week. 
If popular, hacks may extend to 2 hours
