Advanced Riding Lessons NEW!

DRESSAGE - SHOW JUMPING - CROSS COUNTRY
Lesson duration: 3 hours
Group size: Max. 4 riders only
Subjects covered: Developing an understanding of how to ride a horse with:
Outline
Rhythm
Balance
Impulsion
Tempo
Straightness
(these are the six basic requirements for quality of pace)
Correct Riding of School Movements
Lateral Work
Developing Rider Ability Over Obstacles Using Gymnastic Jumping
Riding, Show Jumping and Cross Country Courses
How to Lunge For Improvement
Sessions to include: Video Analysis of Rider
Class Discussion Covering Related Topics
Theory & History Of Equitation (helps rider to understand what they are doing and why)
Physiology & Psychology (to help rider appreciate & understand the way a horse works)
These lessons will be open to riders in the throroughbred group lessons or any rider that undertakes an assessment lesson.
The lessons will be held once a month starting Wednesday 10th March.
Cost: £60.00 per session

Walk & Trot Dressage Test

We are holding a Walk & Trot Dressage Test.
The test is East Lodge Farm Test 1 (2010).
Callers allowed.

Times will be out on 10th March.

Show Jumping Day
Sunday 28th March 2010
We are holding another Show Jumping Day!
Pick your favourite 3 ponies and the class you want to do.
The classes will be running and included in the group lesson, so therefore there are NO private lessons running this day.

Shetlands 1'0 - 1'3
Dartmoor 1'3 - 1'6
New Forest 1'9 - 2'0
Connemara 2'0 - 2'3
Dales 2'3 - 2'6
Thoroughbreds 2'6 - 2'9

Pay for a half hour private lesson and get an extra 15 minutes for FREE with your favourite instructor. This will give you the opportunity to work a little more on the things that you want to work on or just have some fun!
